Robotics Bottleneck Research helps you research the robotics industry. Start with the work a customer needs done, understand what makes it difficult, and examine the businesses trying to solve it.
New to robotics? Start with three questions
- What does a robot need to work? Hardware, control software, models, data, integration, and safety all contribute. Our guide explains how they fit together.
- What makes a deployment useful? Look at completed tasks, reliability, human assistance, and operating cost. A shipment count alone cannot answer these questions.
- Which businesses benefit? Explore how suppliers earn revenue and which dependencies could affect their position.
Explore the research
We organise the research into nine systems and eighteen bottlenecks. Each bottleneck describes a specific technical or commercial constraint. Companies and suppliers are linked to the problems they address.
- Thesis Understand the systems, bottlenecks, and current research priorities.
- Companies Read what companies sell, their commercial evidence, and the limits of the investment case.
- Manufacturing & supply chain Explore suppliers by product and country. Follow the record for evidence about production and customer relationships.
- RoboIndex Examine the research portfolio constructions, holdings, eligibility rules, and limitations.
Understand the scores before using them
CE-N compares bottlenecks using judgments about budget, solvability, and value capture. Read how the score is calculated, including the unresolved questions about its inputs. A higher score does not establish that a company is attractively priced.
